From thematic workshops to hone their skills in advanced flying trapeze techniques, to certified professional training.
INTENSIVE WORKSHOPS
The CIAM, located in Aix-en-Provence (south of France), organizes intensive workshops for intermediate and advanced acrobatic performers. Each session aims to perfect acrobatic techniques on a specific theme.
Thematic Workshops 2025/2026:
– Flying Trapeze with Static Cradle Top Catcher: November 8 & 9, 2025
– Russian Swing at the Flying Trapeze: April 11 & 12, 2026
– Masterise the Fall in the Net: May 2 & 3, 2026
These intensive sessions take place over a weekend, with a duration of 8 hours per weekend.
These large flying trapeze workshops are open to advanced learners looking for intensive practice. They are aimed at those who already have regular experience with the flying trapeze. They require endurance and a high level of autonomy.
PROFESSIONAL TRAINING
The CIAM – Centre International des Arts en Mouvement offers a training in “Techniques and Interpretation of the Arts of the Grand Volant” at its site in Aix-en-Provence (13).
This training, led by Jan Van Zyl, an expert in the discipline with over 40 years of experience, leads to a certification recognized by the french institutions.
Several sessions of auditions are scheduled at CIAM during the year. Starting date of the next training : October 2025.
